By applying, you understand that you are entering your photography portfolio into consideration for a portfolio showcase hosted by Charcoal Book Club at Chico Hot Springs Resort in Pray, Montana. The registration fee of $3,750 covers lectures, meals, and portfolio reviews at Chico Hot Springs Resort, but you are responsible for your travel to and from the seminar. Upon acceptance, we will collect an additional fee for the accommodations you choose and book lodging on your behalf. Our Jury will review all portfolios and offer invitations based on merit.
Monday (4/6) and Sunday (4/12) are considered arrival and departure days. Lectures, panel discussions, and reviews will take place starting Tuesday (4/7) and concluding Saturday (4/11). Charcoal Book Club will provide three meals per day starting with dinner Monday (4/7) through breakfast Sunday (4/11).
The $50 application fee is non-refundable. The tuition fee for the workshop is $3,750. If selected, a 50% deposit of $1,875 is due by Monday, January 13, with the remaining $1,875 due on Monday, February 10.
All tuition payments and fees are non-refundable. However, in the unlikely event that Charcoal Book Club cancels or reschedules the Event, Charcoal Book Club will make a reasonable effort to notify you and, if necessary, reimburse the full registration fee. Charcoal Book Club is not responsible for reimbursing travel expenses if the Event is canceled.
